Welcome to the Lara Museum website.
The Lara Museum and Historical Centre occupies the site that was originally established as the Lake Bank Hotel circa 1860. Bisinella Developments extensively refurbished the property and now lease it at a peppercorn rent to the Lara Heritage and Historical Incorporated whose volunteer members run the Museum.
The museum is located on the corner of Forest Road South and Canterbury Road West, Lara, Victoria.
Entrance is $5. EFTPOS facilities are now available, cash or credit card payments accepted. Group tours by appointment.
