At the Lara Museum, we welcome visits from school groups and we have a team of volunteer members who provide rotational group activities for visiting classes. The nature of the activities provided can relate to a general overview of life in Lara during its early history, or they can be tailored to relate to current themes being studied by the children. Our Schools’ Co-ordinator will liaise with the co-ordinating teacher prior to the visit, so that the program offered will meet the school’s requests. There is no specific charge for visiting school groups, but we do appreciate a small donation to assist us with running costs at the museum.
